Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber couldn’t keep their hands off each other while spending time together on a yacht in the Caribbean over New Year’s weekend.

Justin, 16, and Selena, 18, took a small boat with a bunch of friends to get to the giant private yacht, on which they sunbathed in their swimwear.

Justin recently was mum about their relationship, but he told a radio station that Selena was “amazing.”

selena gomez: i'd like to step out of comedy

With Wizards of Waverly Place coming to an end, Selena Gomez has her eyes on a completely new project!

“Honestly I just would like to perhaps step out of comedy,” the 18-year-old singer and actress told TVGuide.com at Z100’s Jingle Ball.

“I would love to do different genres. I don’t want to be stuck in one. Anything that would challenge me as an actress, I’m down for,” she added.

But that doesn’t mean she wants to give up comedy all together!

I love The Big Bang Theory,” she said. “I’d love to be on that show.”

Here’s what the 18-year-old entertainer had to share:

On friendship: “When I was younger, being ‘best friends’ was very commercial. It’s all about best friend necklaces and you both think that you have to be exactly the same. Eventually you realize, ‘Oh, I’m my own person. I am different. We actually have nothing in common.’”

On being too ‘nice’: “I used to be much more of a people pleaser than I am today. But about two years ago, I started getting better at doing things and making choices that make me happy. I definitely feel like I’m getting stronger.”

The 18-year-old actress/singer and her band sat down earlier this week to record an extra special message for all their fans. They shared in the video, “We get two weeks off and if you don’t, we’re sorry. But, we hope you have an amazing holiday with your family and very Merry Christmas.”

Selena also wrote a Facebook note earlier this month about her Jingle Ball experience. “I am so lucky to have been a part of this year’s Jingle Ball Tour, to be among so many talented artists was an honor…This has given me all the motivation I need to put on an amazing headlining tour summer 2011. I look forward to seeing you all out!! LOVE YOU!!!!” she wrote.

In the upcoming episode “Three Maxes and a Little Lady,” After Max (Jake T. Austin) has the family wizard competition moved up a year (to the following week), Alex (Gomez) and Justin (David Henrie) each transform into Max to try and get the date changed back. But when Max arrives at the commissioner’s office to also change the date back, he is surprised to find that two of him are already there.

In an attempt to transform back into themselves, Alex’s and Justin’s spells go haywire, creating a magical mistake of epic proportions.
