hi guys!! me, luiza, selena's number 1 fan just rented ramona and beezus on itunes. i'm still watching, but as a resume, i think is the best movie i've seen. is cute,funny and it's really, really AWESOME!!! i'm really impressed with joey king. i though that as she is a newcomer, her acting would be just fine. but she is a really nice kid with a class A acting. and selena is always great. this is the best!! i can't wait to watch monte carlo.

The 18-year-old actress/singer recently caught up with Latina magazine and shared, “You never really see it with guys. So you have to not care. Which I think is really good and positive for both of us.”
Selena continued, “I don’t think anybody should be mean because you never understand what’s someone is going through. And it is partly [this] business, because it is crazy and hectic. So I think that nobody should be rude. If this were a normal person, you wouldn’t be so judgmental. I feel like people shouldn’t judge as much, they should give their sympathy.”

The story follows three American girls (two in college, one just out of high school), who decide to amp up their ho-hum Paris trip by fronting as wealthy ladies vacationing in Monaco.

current mood: enlightened

hey guys,

i am sitting in our green room right now with my little brother jake in puerto rico shooting "wizards". i wanted to tell you guys that we are so excited to be here shooting our first movie together. i have to say, i can't wait for you guys to see it ! the cast and i are getting wonderful opportunities to meet our fans here in PR and they are so incredible! not only are we grateful for ALL of you but being able to travel as a cast meeting our fans in other places is amazing! i have not stop listening to hellogoodbye and sarah McLachlan while i've been here and i love going to all the cool shops out there. i picked up a couple of gifts for demi, my cousin brandon and my friend jonathan. the other weekend we went to the rainforest for 5 hours and had soooo much fun and realized how out of shape i was haha! ill be putting up pics soon and new video i've been working on that i'm really excited for you to see, i want to show how you guys PR, if you don't already live here. i also have been editing videos like crazy...i think i should stop because that's all i do now! haha

just wanted to check in and see how all of you were! hope you're doing well!

trick-or-treat for UNICEF

selena celebrated her hallowen with UNICEF, when she announced at a new york city press conference that she would be the spokesperson for UNICEF'S annual trick-or-treat for UNICEF campaign. "we can make hallowen count for more than candy this year by getting all of your friends and all of your family involved," she shared, adding that she and her friends were active in the program growing up." i am extremely excited to be in this year's trick-or-treat for UNICEF spokesperson," said sel."i want to help encourage other kids to make a difference in the world and show them that trick-or-treat for UNICEF is such a great, fun way to get involved."

regardless of how busy she is, selena is always quick to lend a hand to those in need."i do have a voice, and a lot of people look up to me, and that's wonderful," she explains."so i want to be able to use that voice as much as i can!"

last september saw the release of the made-for-dvd film another cinderella story, wich cast selena in the role of mary santiago, more or less the cinderella of this tale.
describes warner home video of the movie," it's musical.it's magical. it's another cinderella story, the dancing, ever-after fairy tale. in this joyous update, selena gomez ( wizards of waverly place) is mary, a modern cinderella complete with dancing shoes instead of a glass slipper. drew seeley ( high school musical) is joey, a prince charming and dreamy new-guy-in-school looking or a girl to love. could mary be that girl? with your kind of music and dance, your kind of romance and all kinds of surprises, you'll find that another cinderella story is a perfect fit".
as director damon santostefano explains it," the idea essentially was to take the cinderella fable and retell it. in doing that, it very much turned out to be not so much a sequel of a cinderella story, but rather a completely new retelling of a modern day extrapolation of the fable. on top of that, it's a dance musical, so it's really the comedy dance musical version of the cinderella fable. it's very much an entirely different story and required a totally different actress for the role.

puerto rico- march 12, 2009 on a day-off from shootting the wizards of waverly place movie this past march, selena visited a local mall in puerto rico to check out what kind of threads the island had to offer. joined by her mom, mandy, and stepdad, brian, selena indulged in a little mickey d's and tried on some cute summery heels before making a few purchases at one of her personal faves, american eagle. selena's favorite stores include forever 21, h&m, urban outfitters and american eagle.

ditching funky threads for a more timeless look, selena racked up a huge bill when she stopped at american eagle outfitters in the heart of new york city during a promotional tour for wizards. selena loaded up on all of the classics. including cardigans, peacoats, blouses and skirts, before cruising back to her posh hotel. the grand total? close to $ 2,000, but after her whirlwind year, slena deserves to splurge.
